We now have a National Framework Agreement for dental decontamination products and services following the issue of the HTM 01-05 guidelines.
In consultation with the Department of Health, this framework is the result of a rigorous evaluation process which included laboratory testing of washer disinfectors, managed by the Health Protection Agency.
Products and Services covered in this contract include:
- Ultrasonic cleaners
- Washer disinfectors (with drying)
- Sterilisers
- Water treatment plants (water softeners and reverse osmosis)
- Maintenance and validation*
*Service contracts are available to purchase through NHS Supply Chain when equipment is purchased as well as post warranty, both from manufacturers and service only providers.
