Dear Colleague

I am pleased to provide you with a further detailed update on the supply chain disruption of the Smiths Medical Graseby administration sets.

In our last communication we advised that machinery had been moved from the flooded area to a new site.  Smiths have now notified us that initial manufacturing operations have begun and they are aggressively working to resume production and re-establish supply of pump disposables to their distribution centres, which they expect to begin doing my mid-February.

It is important to emphasise that production will resume on only a subset of the previously available codes and that this will be done on a phased basis.  The first phase will include the most commonly used products including FSB392 (21-0346-25).  The full list of phases and products is outlined in the attached Smiths communication.

Smiths are confident that this schedule is achievable however do advise caution with this timescale as several sourcing and manufacturing challenges remain.
