VAT Re-claim

NHS Supply Chain would like to inform their customers that they are now able to re-claim VAT for the products that were purchased or resale. We have gained approval from the HMRC that claims can be back dated for four years. A VAT reclaim guide is available for further information together with a VAT declaration form.

 

The Packaging Forum - Ease of opening packaging the ISO17480 Standard

NHS Supply Chain has been working as part of a task force with NHS Improvement, the HCA, suppliers and manufacturers of individually portioned, pre-packed, ready to consume products, to make packaging more easily accessible for patients to eat and drink well when they are in hospital. The aim is to meet the NHS patient food packaging requirements and to comply with ISO17480 guidelines which will help reduce the risk of malnutrition, and support nurses, hospital caterers and dieticians.
