Potential Delay With eDirect and Blue Diamond Deliveries
The root cause of this issue is resolved. Our Inventory Management team are working closely with eDirect suppliers to keep any disruption in terms of delayed orders to a minimum.
Affected customers have been contacted and once again we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
On Friday evening system issues within our IT estate impacted our ability to receive eDirect and Blue Diamond orders for Tuesday (5 November 2024) deliveries. This may mean a delay of up to one day for any eDirect and Blue Diamond orders placed after 2.30pm on Friday 1 November 2024.
The issues were rectified by 9pm on Friday and our IT team has been monitoring over the weekend, and there have been no further system issues.
Our Customer Services team will work with our Inventory Management team to liaise with eDirect and Blue Diamond suppliers to expedite orders where possible.
A separate communication has been issued to customers who are serviced out of our Gorsey Point site.
We apologise for the disruption this may cause.
The system issues have been rectified and our IT team continue to monitor.
Any customers with impacted orders will be contacted by our Customer Services team.

Our IT team is working with our third party provider (Oracle) to resolve an error that has been reported with our order processing system. At this point the impact is not fully known, but the last demand run of the day has been delayed.
Should there be any direct customer impact, we will update this page – however at the current time there is no customer action required.
