HCSA Annual Conference
The HCSA Annual Conference and Exhibition took place on 24 and 25 November at Harrogate Convention Centre in hybrid format, both live in the venue and streamed online.
This year’s theme was “Recognising the value of NHS Procurement”. The conference had a number of key speakers from across the Health and Social Care system.
NHS Supply Chain session
Andrew New, CEO, Heather Tierney-Moore, Interim Chair and Chris Holmes, Director of Supply Chain provided an NHS Supply Chain update on Wednesday 24 November.
The session discussed providing sustainable value through procurement and supply chain. NHS Supply Chain is committed to leveraging the strength of its people and operations to deliver health sustainably through procurement solutions. Supporting NHS trusts to deliver safe and excellent patient care and continuing to build the services the NHS needs.
Value Based Procurement session
Brian Mangan, Value Based Procurement Project Lead joined a panel discussion on Wednesday 24 November to look at what Value Based Procurement is and how it’s going.
Brian was joined by Hans Bax, MedTech Europe, Richard Evans, WL Gore & Associates (UK) Ltd and Mark Ibbotson, HCSA.
