IGPP Developing Integrated Care Systems for the Future

This event will look at the next steps in the planned process of replacing Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) with Integrated Care Systems (ICS), with the latter being legally operational in April 2022, subject to the parliamentary passage of the Health and Care Bill 2021.

Delegates will be provided with insights on how the reforms will work in practice, the implementation and formation of integrated care boards, the statutory duties for the NHS and local authorities to collaborate with a mixture of high level keynote address and best practice case studies.

Brian Mangan, Value Based Procurement Lead will be speaking at 10am about “Maximising The Value Of NHS Procurement”.

The presentation will cover key points;

• Exploring the challenges and opportunities in adopting Value Based Procurement to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency and deliver sustainable cost reduction across the NHS
• Sharing the outputs of the NHS Supply Chain Value Based Procurement project, including examples of how supplier engagement and technology has supported the transition from inpatient to days case procedures.
• Offering practical advice to assist NHS Trusts in recognising value within supplier propositions.
