Supply Issues Various Suppliers Medical Adhesive Tape Multiple Products (ICN 1384)

• Unfortunately, the supply issues for Medical Adhesive Tape are still ongoing.
• The affected product codes are currently subject to intermittent supply.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by the end of November 2022.

• Clinisupplies is now being affected by this supply issue and one of their product codes is unavailable to order:
  EHH058 – Tape medical adhesive plastic impermeable 2.5cm x 5m Transparant Latex free.
• In total there are now seven BSN and Clinisupplies products affected by this issue.

• Unfortunately, the anticipated resolution date is unknown at present however, an update to the ICN will be provided once we have further information.

• The supplier BSN has informed us that an additional product code is now affected and has been added to the ICN.
• The additional product code is:
  EHH049 – Tape medical adhesive plastic impermeable 5cm x 5m opaque latex free.
• In total, there are now six product codes currently affected by the supply issue.

• Unfortunately, the anticipated resolution date is unknown at present however, an update to the ICN will be provided once we have further information.

Change:

• The supplier BSN Medical has informed us of a temporary supply issue with its Medical Adhesive Tape.
• The five product codes affected are:
  EHH031 -Tape medical adhesive plastic impermeable 2.5cm x 5m tan
  EHH032 -Tape medical adhesive plastic impermeable 5cm x 5m tan
  EHH033 -Tape medical adhesive plastic impermeable 7.5cm x 5m tan
  EHH034 -Tape medical adhesive plastic impermeable 10cm x 5m tan
  EHH036 -Tape medical adhesive plastic impermeable 2.5cm x 3m tan.
• The supply issue is due to delay with the raw materials.

Impact:        

• The affected codes are currently available whilst stocks last, but once the stock has depleted the stock will be unavailable to order.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternative products available to order through our online catalogue.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by January 2022.
