Delisting Alliance Disposables Limited and Bunzl Catering Supplies Catering Consumables Products (ICN 2268)

Change:

• Alliance Disposables Limited and Bunzl Catering Supplies have informed us of a discontinuation of their range of disposable catering products.
• 55 product codes are affected in total.
• The supplier is discontinuing these products due to a ban on the single use plastic products coming into effect on 1 October 2023.

Impact:          

• UJR85000, UTC052 and UJR011 are available while stocks last and will be delisted on 29 September 2023.
• 35 product codes are subject to intermittent supply due to the increase in demand and will be delisted from our online catalogue on 29 September 2023 to comply with the ban unless NHS Supply Chain are advised of their requirement for delisting prior to this date.
• 17 product codes are already delisted and no longer available to order through our online catalogue:
  • UYZ043, UTB603, UTP5248,UTP5238, MBP013, UMB690, UTP5222, UTP5223, UMB687, UMB689, UTP5351, UTZ1016, UTP490, UTZ114, UTC380, UTA064 and UTP5231.
• Potential indirect alternative disposable products to ensure continuity of supply are available to order until 29 September 2023 through our online catalogue. However, some of these products may also become subject to intermittent supply with an increase in demand.
• Potential direct and indirect alternative products are available to order from 29 September 2023 through our online catalogue. However, some of these products may also become subject to intermittent supply with an increase in demand.
• Please note that six cutlery products will have a route change to Stocked from 29 September 2023 and will be subject to a price reduction by 29 September 2023.
