Delisting Molnlycke Health Care Dressings and Woundcare Products (ICN 2257)

Change:

• The supplier Molnlycke Health Care has informed us of a discontinuation of their Mepilex Border and Mepilex Border Lite products.
• There are 14 product codes affected in total.
• Molnlycke Health Care has taken the decision to upgrade its Mepilex Border and Mepilex Border Lite ranges.
• Molnlycke Health Care is discontinuing these products due to the upgrade.
• These will be replaced by the Mepilex Border Comfort and Mepilex Border Comfort Lite ranges which offer enhanced product features.
• To aid this transition Molnlycke Health Care will reduce the pricing on their Mepilex Border Comfort range in line with the equivalent Mepilex Border products.
• This ICN will be updated when new pricing has been confirmed.
• Please note that this only affects Mepilex Border and Mepilex Border Lite brands and does not include other similar brand or product names.

Impact:

• The affected product codes will be delisted from our online catalogue from 1 September 2023.
• Mepilex Border and Mepilex Border Lite range products will then be available whilst stocks last.  
• Potential indirect alternative products are available to order from through our online catalogue.
• Please note, potential direct alternative products will become available to order from through our online catalogue by 1 September 2023 through our online catalogue.
