Important Customer Notice Update
Ref: 2021/1197

- As part of the Blood Collection Systems and Blood Lancets Framework launch in March 2021, an NCP on Safety Lancets was launched. This optimised Safety Finger Lancets 21, 23, 28G, Safety Newborn and Premature Heel Lancets.
- To ensure resilience within the market, a decision has been taken not to continue the NCP into the extension of this framework.
- Ending the NCP will ensure more alternatives are available to customers, widening choice and assisting with building extra resilience in this product area.
- As a result, suppliers not awarded to these product areas outside of the NCP, will be delisted and there will be price increases on three product codes:
- FTM121, FTM001 and FTM054.
- Two product codes will be delisted, this is covered in ICN 1984.
- These changes will go live from 8 March 2023.
