Product Update Johnson & Johnson Special Delivery Schedule (ICN 2184)

Change:

• The supplier Johnson and Johnson has informed us that due to a planned software update for their customer services team orders for all MedTech Product Categories will be temporarily subject to a special delivery schedule.
• Customers have been reminded to ensure they have ordered ahead for requirements of eDirect products during this period for all surgical procedures that are scheduled to take place between Monday 3 July and Friday 7 July 2023.
• NHS Supply Chain is increasing the holding of stocked lines to cover this period, please therefore continue to order stocked lines as normal.

Impact:

• Orders that are placed between Thursday 29 June and Tuesday 4 July 2023 may be subject to a delayed delivery
• Individual delivery delays are planned to be resolved in full by Monday 10 July 2023.

Next Steps:

• For stocked products please order quantities as normal, customers should not increase volumes as this could affect availability.
• For eDirect orders customers should have ensured they have placed any orders in advance of Thursday 29 June 2023.
• Trauma related emergency requirements can be serviced directly by Johnson & Johnson during this period, customers should contact Johnson & Johnson’s sales or customer service teams.
