Supply Issues 365 Healthcare Single Use PPE, Procedure Packs and Examination and Surgical Gloves (ICN 1829)

Change:

• The supplier 365 Healthcare has informed us of a supply issue with its drapes, procedure packs and specialist gloves.
• There are 68 product codes affected.
• The supply issue is due to CE Mark expiration and although the stock certification is valid, 365 Healthcare is unable to supply the affected product codes through Blue Diamond. We are working with the suppliers to move lines into stock. We will continue to update this ICN with the most recent information.

 Impact:          

• The affected product codes are suspended and currently unavailable to order.
• Potential indirect alternative products for the majority of the product codes are available to order through our online catalogue.
• For the procedure pack product lines without alternatives, we have provided a pick list for the packs that cannot currently be supplied. We advise trusts to source the contents of these packs by individual item.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 7 November 2022.

 Next Steps:               

• Customers are advised to log into our website to view the potential alternative products.
• We will follow up with another ICN to provide updates on stock that will be threshold managed and subject to Protect Demand Management. Trusts will be allocated a maximum daily quantity “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
