Supply Issue 3M Barrier Film Spray ELY040 (ICN 2115)

Change:

• The supplier 3M has informed us of a supply issue with its barrier film spray, no sting sterile, ELY040.
• The supply issue is due to manufacturing delays as the machines used in production are at capacity.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:          

• ELY040 is currently subject to intermittent supply and is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity aka “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
