• The supplier Medtronic Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Hysteroscope products:
  • FTX039 – Hysteroscopic Fibroid Truclear ultra plus device.
• The supply issue is due to raw material shortage which has caused a backlog of orders.

Impact:

• Medtronic is demand managing this product to reduce back orders and maintain supply.
• FTX039 is still available to order on an intermittent supply basis.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternatives available. Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for products they deem suitable.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 31 December 2024.
