Supply Issues KCI Medical (formerly 3M United Kingdom Plc) Order Blackout Period Non- Stock Orders (ICN 2296)

• The blackout period due to an internal separation of 3M United Kingdom Plc healthcare business, will be lifted on 2 November 2023.
• Most non-stock codes which are Blue Diamond and eDirect will therefore be available to order from 2 November 2023 except for the five product codes listed below.
• These remaining five codes will become available to order from 3 November 2023:
  • • FFL199 – Surgical skin clipper unit
    • ETC1772 – Tray wrap
    • ETC1773 – Tray wrap
    • ETC1774 – Tray wrap
    • ETC1776 – Tray wrap.

Change:

• The supplier 3M United Kingdom Plc has informed us that due to changes within their healthcare business, there will be a blackout period where non-stock orders that are Blue Diamond and eDirect will not be processed through the NHS Supply Chain.
• As part of an internal separation of 3M United Kingdom Plc healthcare business, a blackout period between 27 October 2023 and 1 November 2023 for non-stock orders that are Blue Diamond and eDirect will not be available to order while 3M United Kingdom Plc set up a new entity with NHS Supply Chain.

Impact:

• Due to the lead times for non-stock items, no new non-stock which are Blue Diamond and eDirect orders will be processed between 17 October 2023 and 1 November 2023.
• During this period all non-stock products will be temporarily suspended.
• The last date for orders for non-stock products which are Blue Diamond and eDirect will be 16 October 2023.
• There will be no deliveries by 3M United Kingdom Plc for non-stock products which are eDirect and Blue Diamond between 27 October 2023 and 2 November 2023.
• The last date for delivery of non-stock product codes which are Blue Diamond and eDirect orders will be 26 October 2023.
• This blackout period will only impact orders for non-stock that are Blue Diamond and eDirect product codes only.
• Please note, that stocked product codes are unaffected by these changes.
