Change:

• The supplier Becton Dickinson UK Ltd Stock Oxford has informed us of a supply issue with its Administration Set.
• One product code is affected:
  • FKA848 – Extension set bore narrow male/female luer lock PVC 100cm narrow bore DEHP free extension line with built in anti-siphon valve.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected product is still available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
