Supply Issues Danone Nutricia Ltd (Medical) Giving Sets FSC129 and FSB1963 (ICN 2648)

Change:

• The supplier Danone Nutricia Ltd (Medical) has informed us of a supply issue with its Giving Set products.
• The two product codes affected are:
  • FSC129 – Giving set
  • FSB1963 – Giving set.
• The supply issue is due to shipping delays.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue these products are now being threshold managed as they are subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:          

• FSC129 and FSB1963 are available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• Please note FSC129 is the only identified alternative for FSB1963, which is also affected.
• Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for alternative products they deem suitable.

• This product is anticipated to be removed from Protect Demand Management by 8 September 2024.
