• Product code KFD268 supplied by Eximex UK Ltd, is being replaced with a product supplied by GV Health on the Polymer products framework:
  • KFD268 – Bag specimen adhesive seal 320mm width x 390mm length – sealable flap depth 43mm – 52 micron – Printed in black Pathology Specimens Danger of Infection.
• MVH048 is the replacement product code.
• KFD268 is available whilst stock lasts and is currently subject to Protect Demand Management to ensure fair allocation across the NHS.

Impact:

• KFD268 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• Delivery of MVH048 has been delayed and stock is expected by 13 June 2025.
• KFD268 will then be delisted and no longer available to order.
