  • The suppliers Fannin and Medtronic have informed us that the supply issue with Diathermy Plates is still ongoing.
  • This is due to issues securing raw materials due to global component shortages.
  • There is one further product code affected:
    • FDJ249 – Diathermy plate split with lead wire adult return electrode 183 x 114mm 2.7m (9ft) cord for patients 13.6kg+.
  • The six affected codes are currently subject to intermittent supply.
  • Potential indirect alternative products are available to order through our online catalogue.

  • The suppliers Fannin and Medtronic have informed us of a supply issue with Diathermy Plates.
  • The five product codes affected are:
    • FDJ093 – Diathermy plate split without leadwire adult return electrode 183 x 114mm for patients 13.6kg+
    • FDJ138 – Diathermy plate split with leadwire universal ‘A’ REM 140 x 106mm apple shape with overlapping gel 3m cable
    • FDJ152 – Diathermy plate split without leadwire universal 120 x 132mm overlapping gel low profile waterproof woven cloth backing
    • FDJ153 – Diathermy plate split with leadwire universal 120 x 132mm low profile waterproof woven cloth backing with overlapping gel 3m cable
    • FDJ1668 – Diathermy plate split without leadwire universal split diathermy plate 16.3cm x 13cm woven cloth low trauma overlay – non-returnable product.
  • The suppliers are having issues securing raw materials due to global component shortages.
