Supply Issues Forma-Care UK Limited and Attends Disposable Continence Care (ICN 2055)

• The supplier Attends has also informed us of a supply issue with its Disposable Continence Care products is still ongoing.
• Two new product codes are now affected:
  • CFP1566 and CFP1568.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue three product codes are now being threshold managed and are subject to Protect Demand Management.
  • CFP2067, CFP2068 and CFP2069.
• These product codes are available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity aka “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 30 April 2023.

Change:

• The supplier Forma-Care UK Limited has informed us of a supply issue with its Disposable Continence Care products.
• The four product codes affected are:
  • CFP2067 – Fixation Pants for use with Pads without Legs Large 100-140cm Basic
  • CFP2068 – Fixation Pants for use with Pads without Legs XL 120-160cm Basic
  • CFP2069 – Fixation Pants for use with Pads without Legs XXL 140-180cm Basic
  • CFP2071 – Fixation Pants for use with Pads without Legs 3XL 160-200cm Basic.
• The supply issue is due to an increase in global demand and staff shortages at the manufacturing site.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue these products are now being threshold managed and are subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:          

• The affected codes remain available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity aka “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
