Supply Issues KCI Medical (Formerly 3M) Fluid Warming Products FSB653 (ICN 2321)

Change:

• The supplier KCI Medical (formerly 3M) has informed us of a supply issue with its Fluid Warming products.
• One product code is affected:
  • FSB653 – Standard flow disposable set for Ranger blood and fluid warmer.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.

Impact:

• FSB653 is currently suspended and unavailable to order, KCI Medical advised the product code will not recover until December 2023.
• A potential indirect alternative product is available to order through our online catalogue:
• • FSB656 – Standard flow disposable set with extension for Ranger blood and fluid warmer.
• FSB653 and FSB656 are consumables linked to KCI’s capital equipment, therefore alternatives are restricted.
• The alternative FSB656 has an extension, this can be utilised or removed, to be determined at a local level.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved 1 December 2023
