• The supplier Medical Wire has informed us of a supply issue with its Transport Swab products.
• One product code is affected in total:
  • HHD024 – Transport Swab Gel Media Amies Charcoal.
• The supply issue is due to an increase in demand.
• Due to the ongoing issue, this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• HHD024 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• There are currently no alternative products available to order through our online catalogue,
