Supply Issues Multiple Suppliers 10ml Luer Slip Hypodermic Syringe (ICN 2264)

Change:

• Multiple suppliers have informed us of a supply issue with their 10ml Luer Slip Hypodermic Syringe products.
• There are 11 product codes affected.
• The supply issue is due to increased demand.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue, one product FWC068 is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:          

• FWC068 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• All the remaining affected product codes are currently subject to intermittent supply.
• All indirect products within the product listing are alternatives to each other.
• However, some of these products may also be subject to intermittent supply.
• We are currently sourcing further alternatives and updates will be made to the product listing as soon as possible.
