Important Customer Notice Update

  • We continue to be aware of an ongoing Stryker supply issue related to various sized Exeter stems, Triathlon femur and ETS heads.
  • FJK613 has been delisted and is no longer available from our online catalogue.
  • 59 product codes remain subject to intermittent supply.
  • 60 product codes remain affected in total.
  • NHS Supply Chain, Medical Technology, Orthopaedic and Inventory Management teams facilitate weekly calls with the supplier to understand and track stock availability across the system. At a senior level across NHS Supply Chain, we are working collaboratively on the delivery of Stryker’s recovery plan.
  • The team continue to monitor aged orders and consignment stock levels to reduce service impact.

  • The issues are now affecting Trident, X3, Accolade, Asnis III, AxSos 3, Prostep, VariAx fibula plates and XIA 3, Mantis and Triathlon products.
  • A further 20 product codes are now affected.
  • In total there are 234 codes product codes affected subject to intermittent supply.
  • The affected product codes are subject to an extended lead time and will be regularly reviewed to provide the most up to date information.
  • Please liaise with your local Stryker representative directly for potential indirect alternatives.

  • The supply issue is ongoing, the extended lead times will be regularly reviewed and we will update this ICN when we have further information.

  • The supplier Stryker has informed us of an update to this supply issue which also affects Triathlon products.
  • A further 14 product codes are now affected.
  • In total there are 214 codes product codes affected subject to intermittent supply.
  • The affected product codes are subject to an extended lead time and will be regularly reviewed to provide the most up to date information.

  • The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 30 November 2022.
  • The supplier Stryker has informed us of an update to this supply issue which now affects its Trident, X3, Accolade, Asnis III, AxSos 3, Prostep, VariAx fibula plates and XIA 3 and Mantis products.
  • 28 of the previously affected codes are now available to order, which have now been removed from the latest product list.
  • However, there are 144 additional product codes affected.
  • There are currently 200 product codes subject to intermittent supply.

  • The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 30 November 2022.

Change:

  • The supplier Stryker has informed us of a supply issue with its Trident, Accolade II, AxSOS3 and Asnis products.
  • There are 84 product codes affected including the following product ranges:
    508-11-xxxx, 542-11-xxxx, 6720-xxxx, 6721-xxxx, 6570-0-xxx, 2030-xxxx-1, 6260-9-xxx, 702-xx-xxx, 723-xx-xxx, 702462S, 705031S, 705043S, 705025S, 705032S.
  • This supply issue for Trident and Accolade II is due to increased demand and delays in the distribution network. No product or manufacture related issues have been identified.
  • The supply issue for AxSOS3 and Asnis is due to 3rd party manufacturing supply challenges.
  • There is intermittent supply of stock.
  • The following items can be reused and kept on the instrument sets:
    705031S (DRILL BIT AXSOS 3 TI LOCKING, SHORT, Ø3.1 X 216MM), 705043S (DRILL BIT AXSOS 3 TI LOCKING, SHORT, Ø4.3 X 216MM), 705025S (DRILL BIT AXSOS 3 TI NON-LOCKING, SHORT, Ø2.5 X 216MM) & 705032S (DRILL BIT AXSOS 3 TI NON-LOCKING, SHORT, Ø3.2 X 216MM)
