NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for Central Support Assistant. The purpose of this post is as part of the Central Support team, the role will support the SCCL Customer Relationship Management function by analysing data, identifying savings opportunities for SCCL customers and sharing this information with the SCCL Customer Relationship Management team. Where relevant, the Customer Engagement Support team will leverage analytics resources to develop a more comprehensive view of potential savings opportunities.
What does a Central Support Assistant do at NHS Supply Chain?
Works closely alongside the regional teams, providing all aspects of Project and Administrative Support
Supporting the Customer Relationship Management team on maximising customer savings for 21/22
Works through available trust data where possible to spot market opportunities
Advocates for an NHS Supply Chain first agenda where NHS Supply Chain is considered first as the Customer of choice
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
Ideally you’ll have some project management experience and qualifications (PRINCE 2/ ILM Management, Six Sigma Yellow Belt) and or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, but not essential.
Minimum C Grade in English and Maths GCSE
A Level English or Equivalent
Sales / Management Qualification (NVQ / ILM/ ISM) (Equivalent will be considered)
How you’ll work:
Currently, all SCCL offices are closed until September 2021, so, for now, our colleagues are all working from home. From Spring 2022 we will move to hybrid working; a blend of home and office working – 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home. From September 2021 we will be learning hybrid working together, so you can expect to travel to the offices perhaps once or twice a week.
