Job Title – Clinical Nurse Advisor

Function – Customer Engagement

Location – Field based – Central Region

Type – Permanent

Salary – £37,000 – £44,000

Closing Date – Friday 24th June 2022

 

NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Advisor to cover the Central Region. You will be working as part of a wider team to support procurement partners in the NHS to assist in the delivery of savings. Being responsible for engaging with stakeholders and providing guidance and support to clinicians to review products. 

 

The ideal candidate will live within easy access of Central Midlands to be able to cover the Central Health and Social Care and associated NHS organisations. Further travel may be required on occasion for clinical/business coverage.

 

What does a Clinical Nurse Advisor do at NHS Supply Chain?

 

Provides clinical guidance on product performance and cost to support clinicians in product selection

Engage stakeholders to support procurement partners and promote NHS Supply Chain

Sets up governance mechanisms to enable customers to run effective clinical evaluation to drive and implement savings opportunities.

Be the face of Supply Chain and provides unbiased opinion and updates on products.

Work collaboratively with wider Customer Relationship Team to best support procurement partners in the NHS 

What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?

 

You will need to be a registered Nurse

Have a high level of clinical expertise gained in a variety of settings

Experience in senior level stakeholder management

Knowledge of procurement process within the NHS

Excellent communication skills

Understand change management
