Salary: £32,045 with a potential to rise to £37,700 over 3 years
We have an exciting opportunity within NHS Supply Chain for a Performance and Risk Specialist.
Purpose of the role
As a Performance and Risk Specialist, you will utilise standard processes to audit and approve new suppliers associated via a standardised approach to due diligence and will roll
out training and implementation of Supplier appraisal and Performance tools.
You will support category teams in conducting supplier market analysis and supplier assessment activities, ensuring the correct KPIs and measures are included in contract documentation and will help to measure compliance of the standards for product assurance processes in place.
This particular role in the team will be responsible for the management and maintaining of our Master Indemnity Agreement register and process and ensure any general enquiries into the SRM team are managed in a consolidated and efficient manner.
Working collaboratively is a key attribute for this role, working with wider teams to ensure there is a focus on areas such as sustainability, quality and corporate regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform Business Analysis and Financial modeling.
Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support the development of effective project working relationships and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.
Collate and analyse data using pre-set tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
Prepare strategic and Financial business management advice
Assistant in Financial planning and performance management
Assists in specific projects related to data warehouse, BI, reporting, AP, Collection, Legal technology, etc.
Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments by
analysing information from financial publications and services, investment
banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, or
personal interviews.
Interpret data on price, yield, stability, future investment-risk trends, economic
influences, and other factors affecting investment programs.
Draw charts and graphs, using computer spreadsheets, to illustrate technical
reports
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
(7 to 12 months)
Experience in a Business Analysis role
Experience in extracting large complex data sets turning data into business-critical information and assessing the impact of change.
IT skills including standard desktop application, plus MS Project, MS Access or other database solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
