NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for a Portfolio Management Specialist
What does a Portfolio Management Specialist do at NHS Supply Chain?
This role is part of a team of 3 Portfolio Management specialists covering 3 primary areas; Change Governance, Planning & Reporting and Controls. These roles support the planning and delivery of the enterprise change portfolio using
appropriate portfolio management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved. The first assignment of this role will be to enhance the portfolio controls to provide an integrated roadmap with robust cross-portfolio risk and dependency management, providing analysis and recommendation to de risk the portfolio and maximise outcomes.
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
Essential:
Significant experience in enterprise portfolio management
Excellent understanding of PMO processes e.g., MoP/ P3O or equivalent standard
Experience of influencing and managing stakeholders and third-party vendors
Ability to produce content suitable for Exec level meetings
Experience of working within a PMO and embedding change in a fast-changing business environment
Desirable:
Experience and knowledge of healthcare sector either public or private
Good understanding of Logistics, Supply Chain and eRetailer organisations
