NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for an additional Project Accounts Officer to join our Finance team until 31st March 2024.


Purpose of the role


This role will sit as part of a wider project team to work on delivering a successful implementation of a new Oracle Fusion Cloud solution from a current on-premise Oracle solution.




Identify and clearly articulating requirements for the Finance Team and flagging any touch points where there is not wider business representation

Review and update of required project documentation

Development and management of cut over planning including data cleansing and data migration

Involvement in User Acceptance activities including test script development and reviews, test plan reviews

Completion of User Acceptance testing ensuring any bugs are reported appropriately

Development of any required training to support new business processes created through project implementation

Delivery of the training via the appropriate channel, within the Financial Control & Transaction Services team, wider Finance team or business

Project implementation and transition into BAU processes including early life support.

Development or update of any process notes for because of a business or project change


 What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?


Experience of working in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or General Ledger teams, with a high volume of transactions

Ability to review and challenge existing processes and provide recommendations to improve

High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload to ensure all project deadlines are met

Project and change management experience

System integration experience

Effective problem evaluation and solving skills

Strong communication, negotiating and influencing skills

Oracle Fusion Cloud experience would be advantageous
