SCCL Grade: Hay Grade 16
Salary: £43,520 with potential to rise to £51,200 over 3 years

We have an exciting opportunity within NHS Supply Chain for a Strategy and Performance Manager to join the NHSSC Commercial Centre of Excellence team.

The Centre of Excellence scope will be to establish the foundation standards and drive the continuous improvement of the end-to-end category management cycle
What does a Strategy and Performance Manager do at NHS Supply Chain?
In this role you will have the responsibility for the commercial strategy, business plan and objective, goals, strategic measures process and to include:
Taking responsibility for the total landscape view on the supply market model and
business scenario modelling and horizon scanning activity.
Participate in the development of the commercial strategy applying functional expertise and applying creative ideas and insights.
Translate the commercial strategy into commercial functional plans within category management, supplier relationship management and other sourcing execution areas.
Assess the commercial impact of the market and proposition assessment to feasibility study development and evolution of the commercial play book.
Ensure the procurement calendar evaluation to enable load and capacity planning of the commercial function ownership of VBP / CVE strategy standard across the commercial function.
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
You will have demonstrable experience in the business planning and OGSM process.
You will be knowledgeable and have practical experience in developing a centre of excellence type culture and the business planning / OGSM process.
You will be able to demonstrate you have a strategic mindset, be organisational and interpersonally savvy alongside financial acumen to plan and align the key areas when confidently communicating with customers and building networks to drive results.
You will have a programme of success behind you in planning, managing, and organizing dispersed resources within short /medium timescales and a matrix organisation.
You will have demonstrable experience of planning, managing, and organizing resources within short /medium timescales within the overall policy framework
You will be degree educated or have the equivalent work experience.
In addition, it is important that you can demonstrate during the selection process competency in:

Hybrid working; a blend of home and office working 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home.
