SRM Team Reach Finals in the Government Commercial Function (GCF) Awards 2024
We are thrilled to announce that our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) team reached the finals in the Government Commercial Function (GCF) Awards.
This year, the awards received 200 nominations from all across the public sector, and our SRM team has successfully made it to the final four in the Best Supplier Management Project category.
This is a significant achievement for the team, especially considering that just a year ago, they redefined our approach and processes for working with suppliers. Recently, the new holistic and structured SRM framework has revolutionised our method for releasing value during a contract term, resulting in savings of over £1.2 million.
I am thrilled with this recognition for the SRM team and for the strides we have taken as an organisation in beginning to better manage our suppliers; through this we uncovered additional savings for our customers, and showcased that our frameworks, collaborative teamwork, and strong relationships with suppliers have a lasting positive impact on the NHS.

The awards celebrate teams and individuals who have gone above and beyond throughout 2024, highlighting the exceptional skills and talent within the commercial function.
The awards ceremony was held in London on Wednesday 27 November. Unfortunately, we didn’t take home the winning trophy, instead, it was awarded to Supply Chain Management and Programmes Commercial – FCDO Commercial – Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
Congratulations to all involved.
