We’ve generated potential national savings of £3.3m on Ink and Toner Cartridges*; what savings could your trust make?

Monday 23 June 2014

Ink and Toner Cartridges are consumables needed for almost every office and despite moves towards paperless systems there will always be things that need printing.

In line with our £150 million cash releasing savings target to deliver by March 2016, we are pleased to announce price reductions across our Ink and Toner range, resulting in an average saving of 9%*.

These savings have been achieved via a mini-competition carried out under the framework agreement for Stationery products, which resulted in a sole supplier being awarded to supply each brand. So now, our newly created Ink and Toner Cartridge stationery product range offers you better prices.

Because only one supplier is awarded to supply each brand, you will only have the lowest priced option available to you, making ordering quicker, easier and cheaper.

Potential savings through this better pricing are up to £3.3m* nationally, which could equate to 11,500 patient bed days ‡

To find out how much you could save - please contact your local NHS Supply Chain Account Manager.

* This is a potential saving, which has been calculated based on the same volume of customer orders which were placed in the past 12 months being placed in the next 12 months, and by comparing the new pricing to the pricing which was previously available to NHS Supply Chain’s customers for the same product lines under the Framework Agreement. For the full breakdown, and how it affects your trust please contact your NHS Supply Chain Account Manager.
