New functionality to our eDC system launching in November

rolling out eDC Gold

Following customer feedback we have made improvements to our eDC system.

Following customer feedback, we are updating our eDC systems to offer new functionality that will help you manage your stock more efficiently.

These improvements include:

Location management – Web and PDA users will be able to highlight where stock is held in multiple locations within the same store. All stock received into a store is automatically assigned to the default primary location but a list of secondary locations will also be displayed where applicable.

Batch/serial number transmission – In addition to the current functionality, any batch/serial numbers captured for consigned items will also be transmitted.

eDC Gold report - A number of new or enhanced reports will be available including: 90 day order status, short shelf life, stock locator, stock status.

Planned receipts visibility – We have added a new function for eDC users to set a receipt lead time. This is the number of days that planned receipts will be available before being removed from the list of available planned receipts. Once this time has passed the products will require receipting using the unplanned receipt functionality.
