Neonatal Incubators, Jaundice Management and Related Products

The framework for Neonatal Incubators, Jaundice Management and Related Products contract covers a number of products;

  • An incubator is an apparatus used to maintain environmental conditions suitable for a neonate (newborn baby). It is used in preterm births and for some ill full-term babies.
  • A transport incubator is an incubator in a transportable form, and is used when a sick or premature baby is moved, e.g., from one hospital to another or internal transport.
  • Jaundice Meters are used to facilitate non-invasive measurement of neonates bilirubin levels.
  • Phototherapy Devices  for newborn baby’s are used to treat hyperbilirubinaemia through the application of lights.
