Cleaning Supplies Equipment & Associated Products

The framework for Cleaning Supplies Equipment and Associated Products Lots 1-4 only, renewed on the 1 November 2017 and will run for 24 months ending 31 October 2019 with an option to extend for an additional 24 months. Lots 1-4 include the products; Mops and Handles (Non Microfibre), Ancillary Cleaning Products, Launderable Microfibre Products and Systems and Non Launderable Microfibre Products and Systems.

Please note: This complete framework will be staggered in its launch, due to the number of additional lots being brought onto this framework and the dates of their previous expiry. Chlorine Tablets and Granules (lot 12) launched 1 September 2017. All remaining lots will be launched from 1 February 2018.

  • Lot 6 - Electrical Cleaning Equipment
  • Lot 7 - Colour Coded Cloths
  • Lot 8 - Domestic Gloves
  • Lot 9 - Domestic Cleaning Chemicals
  • Lot 10 - Dosing System Cleaning Chemicals
  • Lot 11 - Higher Level Disinfectants
  • Lot 12 - Chlorine Tablets and Granules
  • Lot 13 - Scouring Pads

Detailed below is the initial overview for the outcome of this award and is subject to change.

  • The previous framework for products included in lots 1-4, offered 278 product lines.
  • An additional 105 new products have been added.
  • Three suppliers will not be on the new framework - Vikan, Ramon and Empress Garland
  • All of the previous suppliers will remain.
  • In addition there will be six new suppliers, creating an increased level of competition, driving down prices and delivering a greater choice to customers.
  • Overall price increases on this framework are estimated at circa - £15,520.

  • There will be a total of 115 NPC codes delisted from this framework for products included in lots 1-4.
  • 84 products have an alternative available and these can be found in the attached spreadsheet.

  • 31 of these products do not have an alternative available.
