Overview

The Framework Agreement for General Wound Care will renew on 01 August 2017 and will run for 12 months with an option to extend for up to a further 36 months.

Summary

Products - 200 new products have been added to this Framework Agreement from both new and existing suppliers.

Suppliers - 42 suppliers, eight of which are new (See the suppliers tab for full list).

Savings Potential Savings are estimated at £4.19m nationally, through the utilisation of different savings levers.

Price Increases - The anticipated impact of price increases is £1.4m nationally. To counteract some of these increases Price Ranking and Compare & Save will be available, to allow customers to review comparative alternatives.

Delisted Lines - 565 lines have been delisted, alternatives where appropriate will be identified. The majority of delists will take effect from 01 November 2017, providing opportunity to make alternative arrangements where necessary.

Alternatives - Whilst the overall structure of the new Framework Agreement does not differ much from the previous, those trusts affected by any delists are advised that they will need to review available alternatives.
