Pulp is a significant category in the prevention and control of hospital acquired infections and this framework offers a range of medical pulp products with varying prices to suit all budgets.

Suppliers have carried out tests in accordance with British Standard PAS29: Disposable Pulp Products for use in healthcare, to demonstrate that their products can be disposed of by a hospital sluice room type macerator.

Moulded pulp products are designed to nest well together, helping to utilise store room space.

The use of medical pulp products can be more efficient and safer for both patients and staff and minimise the risk of cross infection.
