ICN number:117

  • Date:10/07/2017
  • Product area:CardioVascular and Pain Management |

Important information about the new Cardiology Framework

The new Cardiology Framework went live on Monday 19 June. It combines a number of frameworks into one - Cardiology, Radiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management and Associated Products; Heart Valves, Annuloplasty Devices and Other Repair Devices and Associated Products; Endourology Products and Accessories; and Endoscopy Consumables.

The majority of suppliers have been awarded and their product lines are available to order through our online catalogue.

  • We are in the process of awarding four further existing suppliers – Acrostak, Premier Endoscopy Limited, Spectranetics and Volcano.
  • As a result, 224 product lines on this framework have been temporarily suspended from the online catalogue while we work with the four suppliers above to resolve this issue.

  • 224 product lines, across the four suppliers, will be temporarily unavailable to order until the suppliers have been awarded onto this framework.
  • The suspended lines will be reinstated when each of the suppliers has been awarded onto this framework.
  • There are no direct alternatives available.
  • Trusts with a local agreement in place are not affected as these products are covered under their existing agreements.
