Important customer notice Temporary Supply Issues

Swab Gauze Rolls EVE023 and EVE079.

Change:

• The suppliers Vernacare HC Ltd and Synergy Healthcare UK Ltd has informed us of a temporary supply issue affecting swab gauze rolls.
• There are two NHS Supply Chain product codes affected:
  EVE023 – Swab gauze roll, 22.5cm x 5xm, 4-fold, sterile, x-ray detectable,
  EVE079 – Swab gauze roll, 11cm x 182xm, double wrapped, x-ray detectable.
• The supply issue is due to supplier shipping delays in obtaining product components.

Impact:

• EVE023 and EVE079 are currently unavailable to order.
• The affected product codes are the only two swab gauze rolls on our catalogue. As such, there are no alternatives available.
• Please refer to the product listing below for further information on the affected product codes.
• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 28 January 2019 for EVE079 and 1 March 2019 for EVE023.
