EndoEye is the Olympus videoscope for minimally invasive operating surgeons.

The EndoEye features advanced digital visualisation through the chip-on-the-tip technology. With the all-in-one design, the light guide cable is integrated into the camera system. The EndoEye provides excellent HD image quality in 2D or 3D.

EndoEye videoscopes can be used in multiple surgical disciplines, including general surgery, colorectal surgery, gynaecology, thoracic surgery and urology.

The nature of minimally invasive surgery creates challenges with image quality. Unlike the direct, clear vision in open surgery, you have to rely on lenses and screens. The EndoEye concept can improve ergonomic comfort, solve orientation issues and enhance the surgical view for improved identification of anatomical structures while increasing workflow efficiencies.

Chip-on-the-tip technology – for consistent bright and clear quality, the lenses and sensor are located directly in the distal tip. This allows immediate capture and transmission of the image without loss of information. Chip-on-the-tip creates a wide screen and squared image section on the monitor. With EndoEye, you never miss a crucial detail in cut-off corners.

Features and Benefits

  • Fog-free – a fogged lens can lead to interruptions or delays. EndoEye features a heater function on the tip that helps overcome fogging (in 10mm versions).
  • Focus-free, a continuously sharp image does not need adjustments. EndoEye’s focus-free technology and great depth of field allow you to stay focused on your patient.
  • Improved visualisation as the image is captured right at source – bright, clear and natural 3D depth perception.
  • All-in-one – simple to set up and easy to use.
  • Less cabling needed as it eliminates the need for light guide cable, assistant can rotate it easily without interference.
  • 30 degree optical image rotation where you can rotate the image without losing the horizon.
  • Full control during surgery – three programmable remote control buttons.
  • Autoclave compatibility – reduced costs compared with other sterilisation methods
