Olympus are thrilled to offer the opportunity to upgrade the hospitals existing Olympus video image capture devices (IMH-20, IMH-10 and USB200) as well as other video and image capture devices (third party medical recorders).

The nCare™ medical recorder securely captures medical images and video during clinical procedures and connects physicians with the critical visual data required to improve clinical workflows and the patient experience. The versatile and user-friendly recording station can be deployed almost anywhere, from an endoscopic cart to equipment pendants in hospital theatre, medical imaging centres, surgical clinics, and GP surgeries.

The enterprise connected nCare™ medical recorder supports the secure storage, management, and sharing of high definition (HD) and high-resolution images captured during a procedure as well as the automated integration of these images and video with the patient record via HL7 (Health Level 7) and DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) interfaces.

A vendor-neutral architecture enables the nCare™ medical recorder to easily capture virtually any video signal up to 1080p HD, as well as view, label, and export high-resolution JPEG images and high definition MPEG-4 video from almost any surgical video device.

Features and Benefits

  • The workflow-inspired user interface with touch panel control enables clinicians to quickly search image libraries by procedure data, including video and image labels, and clinical notes associated with the case.
  • The nCare™ 10 builds upon previous innovations to include features such as side-by-side image and video comparison.
  • The nCare™ 10 enables secure remote access to the recorder interface to execute clinical workflows over a hospital’s network. This feature allows nCare™ medical recorders to be configured to automatically record video beginning either at patient registration or with the first image or video captured, ensuring key footage is not missed.
  • Clinicians can easily select and adjust a key video snippet to an appropriate length before sending it to PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System).
  • With EasyPost Video Production the ability to incorporate video into PACS (MIMPS – Medical Imaging Management Processing System) is now possible as a practical documentation process.

This offer is over and above the standard discount available through the NHS Supply Chain framework agreement. The discount is a fixed term offer. All orders must be placed before 1 January 2025.
