Contract Update NRS Healthcare Aids for Daily Living Full Product Range (ICN 3052)

• The supply issue with products on the Aids for Daily Living framework following a contractual change with NRS-UK (formally NRS Healthcare) is now resolved.
• The supplier has reached an agreement with Aidapt Bathrooms to allow NRS products to be distributed via Aidapt Bathrooms.
• Therefore, 85 NRS products are now available to order through our online catalogue.
• 31 affected products have now been delisted due to being unable to resolve the current contractual issue.

• Two Hydrate for Health products are no longer suspended and available to order through our online catalogue:
  • GTV85391 – Drinking Aid Bubble PEP treatment – 750ML bottle and tube system
  • GTB85000 – Drinking Aid Bubble PEP treatment – 750ML bottle and tube system.
• 116 products remain suspended.

Change:

• NRS Healthcare (Nottingham Rehab Limited) has entered liquidation.
• As NRS Healthcare no longer exists, 132 product codes listed on our Aids for Daily Living framework have been suspended or discontinued while contractual discussions take place.
• The division that supplies the products to NHS Supply Chain will be taken over by a new company. We are undertaking a full contract novation.
• The service element of NRS Healthcare has moved to local services. We do not have any service contracts in place under our framework.

Impact:          

• 126 products are currently suspended and unavailable to order.
• Six products have been discontinued from our online catalogue and are no longer available to order:
  • GTF85067, GTV85232, GTV85233, GTV85259, GTV85262 and GTV85289.
• Potential indirect alternative products are available to order through our online catalogue for some of the products.
