• The discontinuation of Caresite® Needlefree Extension Set products from B Braun Medical Ltd is now resolved.
• FSB2385 is available while our remaining stocks last and will then be delisted.
• The replacement product code, FNY85025 is now available to order in our online catalogue.
• This ICN is now closed.

Change:

• The supplier B Braun Medical Ltd has informed us of a discontinuation and replacement of its Caresite® Needlefree Extension Set product:
  • FSB2385 – Needlefree extension set Double DEHP and latex free MRI compatible emergency glass syringe compatible 1000 accesses suitable for use with power injectors up to 300psi NON RETURNABLE.
• One product code is affected.
• The supplier is discontinuing this product due to a change in unit of issue; it will now be sold in eaches, instead of a box of 100.
• The replacement product code, FNY85025 is in the process of being created.

Impact:

• FSB2385 is still available to order through our online catalogue whilst our remaining stock lasts, once depleted it will be delisted and unavailable to order and replaced by product code FNY85025.
• We aim to have the new product code ready to order through our online catalogue by Tuesday 12 November 2024, and it will be listed as an alternative product code on our online catalogue to the affected product code, FSB2385.
