Product Update Praxis Medical Limited Medical Pulp Products FSE85003, FSX85000 and FWK85001 (ICN 2786)

• The discontinuation with Medical Pulp products from Praxis Medical Limited is now resolved.
• These products are now discontinued due to the Nationally Contracted Products (NCP3) expiry on 13 October 2024.
• FSX85000 and SE85003 are now delisted, and the equivalent products are now nationally available on NCP4.
• FWK85001 is still available to certain customers while our limited stocks last, it will then be delisted from our online catalogue.
• This ICN is now closed.

Change:

• The supplier Praxis Medical Limited has informed us of a discontinuation with its Medical Pulp products.
• Three product codes are affected in total:
• • FSE85003 – Bedpan liner
  • FSX85000 – Urine sampling cup
  • FWK85001 – Tray.
• FSE85003 and FWK85001 were only visible to certain trusts.
• We are discontinuing these products due to the Nationally Contracted Products (NCP3) expiry on 13 October 2024.

Impact:          

• One product code is now delisted from our online catalogue and no longer available to order:
  • FSE85003.
• Two affected product codes are available whilst our current stocks last, they will then be delisted from our online catalogue and unavailable to order:
  • FSX85000 and FWK85001.
