Alert:

• Ideal Medical Solutions has issued a precautionery Field Safety Notice following a report of poor product performance.
• The recall affects a single Lot number VUT001.
• The manufacturer Meril is conducting an investigation which is ongoing.

Products Affected:

• The affected lot number has been supplied by NHS Supply Chain’s eDirect route for the product:

• Please note only the Lot number quoted above, and in the Field Safety Notice is affected.
• Product code BCA-05 Tissue Adhesive Topical Skin Glue Tube 0.5ml is available via NHS Supply Chain as FXR85003, however Ideal Medical Solutions confirm none of the affected Lot number has been supplied to NHS Supply Chain eDirect customers.

Next Steps:

• Cease use and quarantine the affected Lot number VUT001.
• Share this Important Customer Notice with all users of the affected products.
• Ideal Medical Solutions (IMS) advise they will arrange a free of charge exchange.
