• The supplier Argon Medical has informed us that the issues with their Biopsy Needle products is ongoing.
• There are four product codes affected:

  • FIB158 – Biopsy Needle 16G x 150mm Sterile full core instrument optional co-axial mcxs1615bp
  • FIB162 – Biopsy Needle 16G x 100mm Sterile full core instrument with co-axial 15g x 6.8cm
  • FIB163 – Biopsy Needle 16G x 150mm Sterile full core instrument with co-axial 15g x 11.8cm.
• The supplier has temporarily discontinued these products due to manufacturing issues.
• We will continue to review the stock to minimise further disruption and will update this ICN as soon as we have further information.
• The supply issue is now anticipated to be resolved by 23 October 2026.
