Change:

• The supplier Medicare Colgate has informed us of a discontinuation with its vaginal speculums.
• There are five product codes affected:
  • FPH85101 − Vaginal Speculum Cusco small single use plastic nut and runner Unbreakable Sterile 87mm x 20mm
  • FPH85102 − Vaginal Speculum Cusco single use plastic nut and runner unbreakable sterile large blade 118mm x 38mm
  • FPH85103 − Vaginal Speculum Cusco single use plastic nut and runner unbreakable sterile medium long blade 140mm x 35mm
  • FPH85104 − Vaginal Speculum Cusco single use plastic nut and runner unbreakable sterile medium blade 111mm x 38mm
  • FPH85105 − Vaginal Speculum Cusco Small Single use Plastic Nut and runner Unbreakable Sterile 100mm x 32mm.
• Following Field Safety Notice ICN 3452 that was issued relating to reports of quality issues found in its vaginal speculums, the supplier has decided to cease further production and discontinue these products while it looks at how to implement the outcomes of the thorough investigation.

• The affected codes were delisted from our online catalogue on 23 September 2026 and are no longer available to order.
