• The supplier Teleflex Medical UK has informed us of a discontinuation with its Self-Retaining (Foley) 2-Way PTFE Coated Latex Catheters.
• The range includes Male/Standard and Female/Short lengths in sizes 12Ch to 22Ch, 10ml balloon, nelaton/standard tip, and each catheter is supplied with a prefilled syringe‑filled syringe.
• All 12 discontinued products are classed as Medium Term Use (0–28 days).

• These are available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.

Mitigation

• Our Inventory Team is working with Teleflex to obtain any remaining available stock.
