Safety Alert Masimo LNCS Range Adult DC1 (ICN 3414)

Alert:

• Masimo has issued a Customer Notice dated 7 July 2026 having identified certain boxes of their LNCS DCI sensor for pulse oximetry, Lot number 25FJS, were shipped with M-LNCS DCI sensors, Lot number 25DNJ.
• This issue would result in an out of box incompatibility of the provided sensor with the LNCS series patient cable.
• Masimo advise there are no adverse health consequences associated with this issue as the sensor provided will not be able to be connected or used with the LNCS sensor patient cable.

Products Affected:

• There is one product affected.
• The one product affected is available via NHS Supply Chain’s eDirect Service:

• Please note only the Lot number quoted in the Safety Alert is affected.
• Masimo confirm the issue has now been addressed.

Next Steps:

• Read and follow the full instructions in the Safety Alert and share with all users of the affected products.
• Check the packaging of the specified part number and Lot to see if the correct sensor was provided.
• If you find an M-LNCS DCI lot number 25DNJ, contact Masimo Technical Services to request return of the affected part and Lot number for replacement.
• Complete attachment 1 and return by emailing: CustomerNotice@masimo.com no later than 7 August 2026.

 Please be aware that in the event of a Field Safety Notice/Product Recall we may need to provide manufacturers, UK responsible Persons and Distributers with contact details of customers who have potentially received the affected stock. This is to help them to reconcile their stock and evidence to the regulators that all actions have been taken to ensure that the unused products have been removed from customers to prevent inadvertent use of faulty and potentially unsafe products.
