• The supplier 2San has informed us of a supply issue with its examination gloves.
• There are four product codes affected:
  • FTE86406 – Examination Gloves Nitrile COATS Dermatitis Healing Size Large
  • FTE86407 – Examination Gloves Nitrile COATS Dermatitis Healing Size Small
  • FTE86408 – Examination Gloves Nitrile COATS Dermatitis Healing Size Medium
  • FTE86409 – Examination Gloves Nitrile COATS Dermatitis Healing Size xlarge.
• The supply issue is due to an unexpected increase in demand.
• The supplier has proactively increased its manufacturing capabilities.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue, the products are now being threshold managed and are subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected products are still available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
